We have worked on many large and small projects, both for the public and private sector. Ninety five percent of our projects are with repeat clients or by recommendations from our clients. Most of our projects have very limited budgets and we have optimized the structures to accommodate the limited budget. On many projects we have redesigned the structures of other structural engineers in order to reduce the construction costs.

The firm’s owner and principal, John M. Looney, P.E., has over 45 years of experience with national and international projects. Prior to establishing the JML Engineering, Mr. Looney was a principal at Aberjona Engineering, Inc. of Winchester, Massachusetts for 32 years. His past and current experience extends through a variety of projects, including low and high rise Residential Buildings, Commercial and Industrial Complexes and Institutional and Educational Buildings constructed of Light Wood and Heavy Timber Framing, Reinforced Masonry and Concrete, Structural Steel and Precast Concrete. JML Engineering also provides independent structural reviews (peer review) of various projects as well as Building Information Modeling (BIM).
